Following an annual survey conducted by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), Renaissance at the Terraces, which provides senior health services for residents at The Terraces at Bonita Springs retirement community, as well as the surrounding area, has received a ‘deficiency free’ rating for exceptional skilled nursing care.

Achieving two deficiency free annual surveys in a row is almost unheard of in long-term care. This accomplishment is only possible when all associates in all departments practice our Core Values of “Collaboration, Accountability, Respectful, Ethical, Service Driven” on a daily basis.
The goal of the survey is to ensure compliance with Medicare regulations, and follow up on any past shortfalls to ensure that residents are receiving the best possible care.
It includes an inspection of all elements of skilled nursing, from charts to the food that’s served. Residents and their families are often interviewed as part of the survey process.

It’s nice to see that work validated.”
Communities in the state of Florida are rated by AHCA (Agency on Health Care Administration) using a Five Star system similar to the Five Star system utilized by CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services). Renaissance at The Terraces recently earned an overall rating of Five Stars on both these systems, indicating that our care and services are “much above average.”
