The Terraces At Bonita Springs Announces New President and Chief Operating Officer

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – The Terraces at Bonita Springs, part of SantaFe Senior Living, announces Ron Jennette as its new President and Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Larry Schreiber, CEO for all affiliated businesses of SantaFe HealthCare.

“We are so excited to have such a dynamic and talented industry veteran like Ron leading our senior living communities into the future,” said Schreiber.

Jennette has been in the senior living industry since 1994 both as a CFO and CEO, including serving retired military officers and their spouses at Air Force Villages (n/k/a Blue Skies of Texas) in San Antonio. More recently, he served as the President and CEO of Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) for 12 years. MRC is a multi-site system based in The Woodlands, Texas.

During Jennette’s first two weeks on the job in January, The Terraces at Bonita Springs closed on a refinancing of its bonds, substantially lowering its annual debt service by reducing its average interest rate several points. “This refinancing now puts The Terraces in a very solid financial position while setting us up for a strong, long-term viable future. We look forward to serving our amazing current and future residents in our exciting, boutique, amenity-filled community where every person matters,” stated Mr. Jennette.

Jennette has established a residence in the Gainesville area near the corporate offices, with a full schedule that includes frequent engagements with each SantaFe Senior Living community, both in person and virtually.
